Finding the right image for your blog could be a real pain. Good images are hard to find and often come at a price that seems too expensive.
Images not only decorate your article, but good images are also like a compliment to tour writing.
They help to influence the reader’s mind.
There are many services which offer free images. In this article, I would bring you five free resources which allow free download and use for personal and commercial use.
In fact, the last resource is an aggregate of about 30 small sites. I bet you would not need to spend any penny on the photo that you require to use on your blog.
Here we go.
Pixabay
Pixabay offers thousands of photos that can be downloaded for free.
All pictures are free for personal and commercial use. Attribution is not required.
Yes! That means you can download a photo and use it any way you wish to [Of course sensibly :-)]
All pictures are released under Creative Commons CC0 into the public domain.
That means you can copy, modify, distribute, and use the images, even for commercial purposes, all without asking for permission or giving credits to the artist.
You may use Pixabay images on social media platforms like Facebook too.
One caveat though. The depicted content may still be protected by trademarks, publicity or privacy rights.
The Pixabay image can be downloaded without opening an account but if you choose to sign up, you can get rid of the CAPTCHA that is presented every time when you ask for download.
Pexels
All photos on Pexels are free for any personal and commercial purpose.
You can choose from thousands of photos being offered on the site.
All pictures are free for personal and commercial use. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
Similar to Paxabay, all photos on Pexels are licensed under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license. This means the pictures are completely free to be used for any legal purpose.
The pictures are free for personal and even for commercial use.
You can modify, copy and distribute the photos.
Attribution is not required.
The only restriction is that identifiable people may not appear in a bad light or in a way that they may find offensive.
