State health and family welfare department has given nod to set up an eye bank in Bokaro General Hospital.
The eye bank would be the first in the district and will be a boon for thousands of residents and people from Koderma, Giridih and Bermo.
At present, the people have to go to Ranchi, Calcutta or even to Shankar Netralaya, Chennai, for donating or pledging their eyes.

Here is what it is aiming at
Each design has to fly up to 85 percent of the speed of sound; cover a range of approximately 7,000 miles; and carry between 50,000 and 100,000 pounds of payload, either passengers or cargo.
