I was taken by surprise when I came across this. Maruti Suzuki has launched a new version of  Alto with the K10B engine.

The ex-showroom price is between Rs 3.03 lakh for the base LXi version and Rs 3.16 for the VXi version.

800 cc Alto will continue to be available along with the new.ly launched model

The car will feature the 1-litre K10B engine seen previously on the Maruti Suzuki A-Star, Estilo and the new WagonR. It offers  20.2 kmpl mileage.

It  has also been got new headlamps, a new radiator grille and revised interiors  giving it a modern look.  It has got tinted glasses, body-coloured bumpers, smart front grill, a stylish tail gateo, trendy wheel-covers and 3-spoke steering wheel.

Seems like a good deal.
